Abstract

A 30-year-old woman admitted to Gaziantep University hospital after a gynecologic operation. She presented left ilio-femoral venous thrombosis. Ultrasound examination was normal, and also pelvic region not clearly visualized by contrast venography. A tourniquet was applied to left leg, above the ankle, and the radioisotopic tracer injected by intraveous. Then images of the calf veins, femoral veins and pelvic veins were obtained consecutively with gamına camera. Radioisotopic media retantion and stasis in the left pelvic region was detected. After that femoro-femoral cross-over otogen saphen bypass (palma procedure) was performed. After one month later radioisotopic venography reperformed. And alsa graft was visualized patent.
