One of the most important aims of prenatal examinations is detection of high-risk preg- nancies. With the addition of hemodynamic values obtained with color and spectral Doppler to conventional sonographic findings, both uteroplacental, fetoplacental circulations and pathologies like intrauterine growth retardation, fetal hypoxia, asphyxia, fetal distress, cardiac and cord malformations can be evaluated. in this paper important poirıts in Doppler sonography and its imaging techniques in pregnancy has been emphasized.
