Abstract

An 37 years old woman with pheochromocytoma and incomplet form of von Recklirıhausen disease was presented. Beside the unilateral pheochromocytoma, cafeau lait spots was determined in the case. Diagnosis was supported by the biochemical and pathological Findings. There was no skelatal deformity. Neither hypertension nor pheochromocytoma was diagnosed in family members. Good results were taken with the combination therapy of nifedipine and prazosin during the preoperative period. Clinical improvement was observed after surgery. According to the statements above we can assume that the investigation of the pheochromocytomas also should be carried out in hypertensive cases with neurofibromatosis.
