The Benign Cystic Teratoma (Dermoid cyst) frequently seen in younger women, is the benign and cystic germ cell tumor of the ovary. it contains all types of the matur germ layers such as ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm. Malignant changes may rarely occur and influence the prognosis of the patients. Cystectomy must be performed on the cases who desire childbirth. Otherwise oopherectomy or saplingooopherectomy can be done on the patients who don't want pregnancy.
