Abstract

Septal reconstruction operation was performed twenty-two patients who had anterior nasal septum deformity. There were nineteen male and three female patients aged 17 to 52 with a mean of 29. Autogenous perpendicular pi ate of ethmoid bone and/or vomerine bone was used as dorsal support material. Complete improvment was achieved in 16 (72.7%) cases and partial improvement was observed in six (27.3%) patients as a result of partial luxation of graft from midline. in only one case. cat-gut reaction was occured on nasal tip.
