Abstract

Amebiasis caused by Entemoeba histolytica is a common protozoer infection in our region. Two pregnant women with intestinal amebiasis (dysenteria) were diagnosed and treated with Ampicillin in our clinic in the last six months. These two patients are presented as case report. The clinical findings of amebiasis were reviewed and the therapotical outcomes of the cases were discussed in the article.
