Abstract

Treatment of brucellosis has been changed because of the ineffectiveness of Streptomycin+ Tetracyclin combination and relapses seen frequently following this therapy. Many kinds of antibiotics and their combinations have been used in the treatment.

Combinations with 2 or 3 antibiotics including quinolon antibiotics and 3 rd generation of cephalosporins have been recommended to use at least 6 weeks
