Abstract

The false steps in monopolar diathermy application causes a situation called the "Diathermy Burns". In this report, while describing our first diathermy burn case also wanted to attract attention to the judicial dimension of the subject. A twenty eight years old female patient that consulted to Gaziantep University Forensic Medicine Department, develops intraoperative electrocouter burn while having an rhinoplasty operation because of septum deviation and noticed it postoperative sixth hour has been presented.
