Abstract

Different intensity of DC currents is applied with different times and its effects are investigated on thrombin time which is one of the coagulation parameters. 0.25, 0.50 and 1 mA currents reduce the thrombin time according to the obtained results. Most reduction is observed at the value pf 0.50 mA. However it is determined that thrombin time is increased directly proportional with the intensity of the current for 2, 4 and 8 mA current values.
