Acute myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation (STEMI) is a life threatening condition and revascularization should be accessed emergently. While most of STEMI cases develop as a result of atherosclerotic plaque rupture, other rare causes such as coronary artery dissection, the vasculitic involvement of the coronary arteries and coronary artery embolism can be responsible for the underlying pathophysiological mechanism. Herein, we present a young male patient with subacute anterior STEMI secondary to thrombus embolism from prosthetic aortic valve due to the incompliant use of warfarin.
